There is no greater value in education than when it can help save a life.
These games were created with the motivation to innovate new ways of learning in critical care. It is a privilege to be in a position to educate others. However, to do curious minds justice, one must continually find new ways to peak that curiosity and engage learners.

IN CLINICAL SETTINGS
The concept for these games was developed in 2017, after being unable to find pre-existing games for training human factor skills, other than the modality of simulation. Simplifying objectives set out to be achieved was the first step. Determining which Human Factor skills can be improved with repetitive practice for them to make a real difference at the bedside. Then followed researching a streamlined method to achieve training these skills. Prototypes were made that year and the games began to be played on the shop floor in the resuscitation bay. Real Human Factors have worked tirelessly to bring you serious games that have been tried, tested and implemented, for you to use in your own departments with your teams.

Learning Made Fun
Our patients deserve being treated by staff who are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning, immersed in the environment in which they deliver primary care. Take your training out of the classroom and into the areas where you deliver direct patient care.
A Real Human Factors Environment
One of Real Human Factors fundamental principles to all its games, is to ensure they can be played within the practitioners own work environment. Learning in a separate education centre away from the bedside where we provide emergency care never made sense.
Training within the exact space where care will be delivered is where training should be possible. Although, these games can be played in a separate simulation or education room, their time efficient design means the skill being trained can be deliberately practiced repeatedly within the very space it will be used.
